We regret to advise that, after much deliberation, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the Sutherland Shire Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming concert on Sunday 5th April due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

We believe that this is in the best interests of our beloved patrons and players, whose health and wellbeing are our highest priority.

Given the risks of contamination, we believe this step is necessary for us as a community organisation, and we join many other arts organisations in doing our part to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Up-to-date information on the virus, issued by the NSW Health Department, can be found by visiting their webpage…/dise…/Pages/coronavirus.aspx.

We will closely monitor the situation and keep our community informed in regards to how this will impact future events. At this stage, we are hopeful that our future concerts will proceed as planned, and any changes to our events will be made following consultation, advice and directives from the appropriate Government and Health Departments.

We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment resulting from this decision as we, together, hope for better times in the coming months.
